Permaculture uses whole-systems thinking to design solutions that positively impact community resilience through regenerative agricultural processes.

Modern day "permaculture" is essentially the return to traditional Indigenous knowledge known and practiced around the globe. Tribes and communities that have been untouched by colonial systems continue to engage with our shared ecosystem in a harmonious manner; fostering resilience and regeneration. 

WHAT IS BIPOC+?

BIPOC+ is an identity acronym like LGBTQ+.
BIPOC+ represents Black, Indigenous, People of Colour + White allies. The '+' in BIPOC+ symbolizes the bridge synchronizing all people as ONE united human race.

As ONE race, we must respect and honour the strength, equivalency and differences of each other while being honest in how we acknowledge, address & repair historical and present day injustices to restore collective peace through truth and reconcili-action.

We challenge young & mature youth and adults to return to basic Kindergarten principles -- share, care & play fair.

We, the Quinte Cultural Innovation Committee (QCIC) advance equity and inclusion through the practice of decolonization. As a nonprofit organization, we apply permaculture ethics and principles to transform both our internal governance and the interconnected communities we serve.

We collaborate across political and social spectrums — engaging individuals and organizations from both the left and the right — to bring polarized people together in mindful, restorative spaces. Our goal is to spark catalyst moments of truth-telling that lead to healing, restorative justice, and reconcili-action.

Grounded in the understanding that we are one human family — one species —we work to harmonize the balance between people, plants, pollinators, and the planet. Through this, we nurture safe, brave spaces where repairative actions take root, misunderstandings fall away, and solutions thrive.
