STRUCTURAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Our governance at the Quinte Cultural Innovation Committee reflects our commitment to transparency, equity, and sustainability. Rooted in permaculture principles, our structure is designed to be adaptable and community-driven, ensuring shared responsibility in decision-making.
We prioritize collaboration over hierarchy, centering historically marginalized voices to foster an inclusive and responsive organization. Transparency is key—our decision-making and resource allocation processes are open and accessible to all stakeholders, building trust and collective ownership.
Sustainability guides our governance, ensuring that our actions support both the long-term resilience of our communities and the environment. We recognize that QCIC is part of a larger web of relationships, and our interconnected approach strengthens mutual support, accountability, and shared purpose.
Our governance is a living system—continuously evolving through feedback, reflection, and care to uphold the highest standards of integrity and responsibility.
