QUINTE REGION BUSINESS DIRECTORY

In a region where community wellbeing depends on mutual care and shared prosperity, this directory serves as an invitation to participate in intentional economic enrichment and repairative action. By highlighting Black-, Indigenous-, and People of Colour–led initiatives, we aim to encourage rural residents, organizations, and institutions to invest locally in leadership, creativity, and entrepreneurship that strengthens our collective future.
Each business featured here is committed to cultivating welcoming, inclusive, and values-driven spaces, contributing not only to economic vitality but also to trust, cultural exchange, and community resilience. Supporting these businesses is a practical way to align values with action, ensuring that opportunity, dignity, and prosperity are shared across communities, near and far.

This directory is being created as a go-to resource for discovering businesses across the Bay of Quinte that are committed to equitable inclusion, respect, and belonging for racialized people.
While Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour may be a visible minority in small towns and rural spaces, globally, BIPOC communities represent the global majority. This directory reflects that truth and invites our region to lead with awareness, care, and restorative action through active allyship.
By supporting businesses that intentionally foster inclusive environments, we strengthen local economies, build trust across communities, and help the Quinte region shine as a place where values are matched with action.
This directory is a collaborative project brought to life by the owners of Caribbean Jerk Spot in Belleville, Ontario, Mercy Tuga, representing J's Treasure Events (Belleville Nigerian Community), Nikki Clarke Network, and the Quinte Cultural Innovation Committee.
